May 10th was a special day for the Chicago Metro Chapter, as it welcomed the new State of Illinois Appraisal Director, Brian Weaver. Is his first public appearance, NAIFA and invited members of AI, ICAP and many unaffiliated friends in the valuation industry were informed and delighted by Mr. Weaver's presentation. Nearly 100 people listened as Mr. Weaver outlined the challenges he has faced, just 3 weeks into his tenure, and the approaches he plans to bring to the office.
